Power Plate Training

Because Power Plate recruits up to 90% of muscle fibres compared to around 40% with conventional training, the equivilant of a one hour workout can be completed in as little as 15 minutes.

For anyone who doesn't have the time for long gym workouts, finds gym workouts boring or gets de-motivated due to lack of results, Power Plate is an ideal form of training.

Power Plate training in the gym

Most people would benefit from doing more resistance training, but shy away from traditional forms of strength training or weight training. 

Resistance training is essential to tone muscles and to assist with weight loss through increasing metabolic rate. Power Plate is a fast, safe and effective way to include resistance training within your gym workouts. If you've spent hours on treadmills and cross trainers and haven't been getting the results you want then talk to us about personal training to get the results you want.

Personal Training sessions incorporating Power Plate are available at the Galtres Fitness Centre in Easingwold (about 20 minute drive north of York). Many gyms are now installing Power Plates, but I'm still the only Power Plate Academy Certified trainer in the area. Like any piece of fitness equipment, Power Plate is only effective if you know how to use if correctly.
