Event Specific Training

Have you ever watched the London marathon or Great North Run and thought "I'd like to do that"? Do you know someone who has trekked across the Himalayas and wished you had the fitness levels to be able to experience such an event? Training for a specific event is a great way to focus your efforts and really improve your fitness in the process.

The event could be a walk, run, cycle ride or even a trek across mountains. Many charities provide details of sponsored events you can take part in to raise funds at the same time as improving your fitness. Our charities of choice

We can help to ensure that you train effectively for your chosen event and that the event and your timescale are realistic.

Sport specific training

If you go skiing, play golf, tennis or other sports, you can improve your fitness further by training specifically to improve strength, endurance and stamina needed for your chosen activity. If your enjoyment of activities or sports is spoilt by persistent injuries or lack of fitness, don't give up on activities you enjoy. Train with us to improve your fitness levels and improve muscle balance and strength to reduce the liklihood of injury.

Sports massage is beneficial pre and post event to aid recovery and reduce the risk of injury. 

Sports massage therapy is a blend of Swedish Massage and Shiatsu specificaly designed to cater for musculo-skeletal injuries.
